Nurturing the gardens where grief takes root
Grief is daunting. There's no way to truly grasp and understand the stronghold it can have in your life until you're in the thick of it. As a widow, I get it. I never saw myself living life alone, raising 2 young children without my partner and paving a path of an unknown future. But here I am and I can tell you in all honesty that as difficult as it's been, it's also not impossible and there is beauty to be found.
Here at Grief, Grace & Growth we walk the journey of grief together and seek the grace and growth our Father has for us.

I'm Melanie—a dreamer, writer, widow, and Christian solo momma, just trying to replant the seeds of this life after the loss of my husband to cancer.
I believe in cultivating space for real, raw emotions and presenting them to God without holding back. You don’t have to fake it with Him—be transparent, and He’ll illuminate the way. I believe with God, we can tend to the ruined soil of grief, planting seeds of beauty, and nurturing the growth that comes from embracing both the pain and the hope.
